The Procession lines up in Cross Road which is normally closed to traffic from 11.30 am. The Procession starts at 2.15 from the junction of Fambridge Road and Cross Road.The 2011 Carnival was held on Saturday August 6th. attracting visitors from far and wide. As with last year the rain kept off until after the Procession, some arena events unfortunately had to be cancelled. The Carnival Committee were delighted with the Carnival the street collection was however down this year to £1330, all the money collected from the street collection will be distributed to local charities and good causes.

The 1st. ever (we believe) Maldon Winter Parade took place on November 29th. 2008.The event was a great success dispite being overcast and chilly, luckily the rain held off until it was almost finished.
The 2009 Winter Parade was held on Saturday November 28th and was double the size of the previous years Parade, the weather was fine and dry but a bit cold and the crowds came in good numbers in support.
The 2010 Winter Parade took place on Saturday 27th November and was a great success.
The 2011 Winter parade will take place on Saturday 3rd. December.
The Summer Carnival is held annually on the first Saturday in August and will be held on Saturday August 4th. 2012.
