Thank you for your enquiry with regard to the rules for the
Maldon Illuminated Winter Parade

The theme for the Parade is 'Anything Christmas'
It would be appreciated if you would return the completed entry form to the address on the form as soon as is possible.
1. Collecting tins and buckets will be provided; it is ILLEGAL to collect for any other organisation
other than Maldon Carnival Association.
2. All entrants are prohibited from throwing water missiles etc.
3. No alcohol is allowed on any float or to be consumed at any time during the Procession.
4. Please do not allow participants to jump on and off floats while in motion.
5. In the interests of safety please ensure that at all times participants on board any float/vehicle has
a means of protection from being able to fall from the float/vehicle
6. In the interests of safety please supply at least 2 walking stewards for your float/vehicle when in
the Procession.
7. All entrants must obey the Police and Marshals.
8. Offenders will be ordered by the Police or Marshals to leave the Parade.
9. In the event of an emergancy or mechanicle difficulty please pull over to the left hand side of the
road.
10. Normal road traffic laws apply and must be obeyed.
